The facility provides a venue for several sporting events, including IMPACT Flag Football, tee-ball, softball, soccer, wildlife watch, trail walking, and other non-sporting activities such as birthday parties, and napping in the grass. The Recreation Outreach Complex (ROC) is located just north of the GABC South Campus on U.S. Hwy. 69 and is open to the community to use.

It offers three soccer fields, two softball fields, a mile+ walking trail, 18 hole disc golf course, and a well-stocked two-acre lake. In addition, there is a Welcome Center, restrooms, paved roads, waterfalls, and two picnic pavilions overlooking the picturesque campus. If you haven’t seen The ROC lately, you are in for a treat!

ROC Amenities

The ROC has 2 softball fields and 3 soccer fields. Our fields are available to all but only GABC events and members may reserved the fields.
There is a beautiful and challenging 18 hole disc golf course that includes 2 water holes. Hole 1 is right next to the large parking lot.
There is a 2 acre bass lake that has some very nice bass ready for you to catch. There are also many other types of fish in our lake. We run a catch and release program on our bass but any other fish you catch you are welcome to keep. There is no swimming in our lake.
We have 2 small pavilions that are available for use. GABC members may reserve the pavilions by calling 903-525-1116. There is a picnic table under each pavilion as well as a small BBQ grill at the larger pavilion.
We have a 1 mile concrete walking trail that goes around our entire property. It is great for exercise, enjoying the great outdoors, and even learning how to ride a bike.
